Job Overview
We’re seeking a talented and visually driven Cinematographer with 5-6 years of hands-on experience to lead the visual storytelling of our productions. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for composition, lighting, and movement — and understands how to bring the director’s vision to life through the lens.
You’ll collaborate with the creative team from pre-production through post, shaping the tone, mood, and style of the project through expert camera work and lighting design.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the director to interpret the script visually
Design and execute the visual style and tone of each production
Plan and manage camera setups, shot lists, and lighting schemes
Operate camera or direct camera operators on set
Select lenses, filters, rigs, and lighting equipment based on the project needs
Ensure proper exposure, framing, and focus for every shot
Supervise the lighting crew and gaffer to achieve desired effects
Oversee the camera and lighting team during shoots
Work closely with colorists during post-production to maintain visual consistency
Requirements
3–4 years of experience as a Cinematographer or in a similar camera role
Proficiency with industry-standard camera systems (e.g., RED, ARRI, Blackmagic, Sony)
Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and cinematography principles
Experience with different shooting formats, frame rates, and lenses
Familiarity with lighting setups for interior, exterior, day, and night scenes
Knowledge of color theory and visual storytelling techniques
Ability to lead and communicate with crew members on set
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends
Degree or training in Film Production, Cinematography, or related field is a plus
Preferred Skills
Experience working on films, series, commercials, or web content
Working knowledge of color grading tools (DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Drone operation or certification is a plus
Ability to storyboard or visualize sequences
Basic knowledge of VFX integration and green screen techniques
