Our Story
It began in 1998, in a cramped, two-desk office in downtown Los Angeles. Driven by a singular obsession with visual storytelling and the emerging digital frontier, we started as a small post-production boutique.
What started as a labor of love for independent creators soon evolved into a premier entertainment collective. Our journey from that dusty office to a world-renowned cinematic hub has been fueled by a relentless pursuit of “The Perfect Frame.”
Today, VR1 stands at the intersection of technology and artistry, curating premium experiences that resonate on a global scale.
Inspired By
Kader Khan
Kader Khan was an iconic Indian actor, screenwriter, and producer who shaped Hindi cinema from the 1970s to the 1990s. With over 300 acting credits and dialogue writing for 250 films, his impact is legendary.
Though trained as a civil engineer, his heart belonged to storytelling. Kader Khan began his journey in theatre, where his performances and scripts earned widespread acclaim before he transitioned to film with his writing debut in Jawani Diwani (1972) and acting debut in Daag (1973). In the early 80’s he produced his first movie titled, “Shama”.
His blend of intellect, humor, and emotion continues to inspire everything we do at VR1.

I’m Sarfraz Khan. My father Kader Khan always been my greatest inspiration. Cinema is both my heritage and my passion.
I started VR1 Media with a vision —
