Although well-known actors like Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Vicky Kaushal, and Akshay Kumar have appeared on screen, success has eluded them.

Only one Bollywood movie, Chhaava, has been a definite success during this slow period. In addition to being unique, Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama has been the most profitable. Despite having a ₹130 crore budget, the movie made an incredible profit margin of 373.1%, making it Bollywood’s best-performing film of 2025 thus far.
