Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 2-3 years of professional editing experience to join our post-production team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through visuals, sound, and rhythm — with the technical skills to assemble high-quality, emotionally resonant content across formats like film, television, web series, commercials, and social media.

You’ll work closely with directors, producers, and other creatives to shape raw footage into polished, engaging final products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into cohesive and compelling videos (short-form and long-form)

  • Collaborate with directors and producers to maintain the creative vision

  • Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and sound effects effectively

  • Perform color correction and basic color grading

  • Apply transitions, effects, and titles as needed

  • Sync audio and video, and handle sound editing tasks as necessary

  • Export and deliver content in multiple formats for different platforms

  • Organize and maintain project files and media assets

  • Adapt and reformat content for various platforms (e.g., social, broadcast, web)


Requirements

  • 3–4 years of professional experience in video editing

  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

  • Strong storytelling instincts and pacing skills

  • Understanding of post-production workflows, codecs, formats, and resolutions

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines

  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics

  • Basic knowledge of sound design and audio mixing

  • Familiarity with motion graphics and tools like After Effects is a plus

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with VFX or advanced color grading

  • Familiarity with file delivery standards for TV and streaming platforms

  • Basic knowledge of camera formats and set workflows

  • Background in film, media, or visual communications

  • Bilingual skills (if relevant to project content)
